Gustav Wasa Restaurant

Gustav Wasa is a cellar restaurant in the heart of Vaasa. A  hundred-year old coal cellar has made space for a softly-lit restaurant with a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Our specialty, GW7 Tasting menu, is a seven course dinner that tickles you taste buds and offers you an unforgettable tasting experience. We emphasize clean, fresh and preferably locally produced ingredients. The menu changes continuously, as the menu is set each day following the seasons and raw material.

Gustav Wasa is primarily an evening restaurant, during December we also serve Christmas lunch.

We are also open for lunch for pre-booked groups from September - April.

Sauna and Kitchen Studio

In a separate building in the courtyard we have our new Kitchen Studio where you can cook together with our chefs.

Also in the building is a sauna with adjacent facilities and an assembly room for up to 12 people.
